Milo is just awesome. He can exhaust me like nothing else, but he's the best. Today we went into the office to work. Yeah... like I'm really gonna get work done there with a baby attached to my hip (literally. I keep him in the sling). I work from home part time and then the other time (supposedly) I'm supposed to be in the office with Milo. Except the whole time today I was trying to make sure he wouldn't fuss and disrupt people's phone calls. All went well. Milo held up well for me and only cried at the end (I don't blame him--he was bored and tired and had no place to lay down). Working at home is much better b/c I don't have to wake Little Man when he's sleeping to go somewhere. I can work around his schedule, rather than try to force a baby to work around mine (which NEVER works and I'd rather not do it anyways).
So that was our day in a nutshell.
ALSO... I saw a clip on the news about a "British study" that said breastfed babies do best with a scheduled feefing of at least 20 min apart. wtf?! Who sponsored this study? Nestle? The makers of Similac?? God, I hate formula companies as much as cigarette and oil companies. God damn pieces of shit...

So yah, what a bunk study. Babies (except for new borns) typically DO space their nursings naturally. No need to impose a schedule--they'll figure it out themselves.
I'm excited to attend La Leche League mtgs next month. I just hope Little Man doesn't scream the whole way through! I've heard stories of my brother doing this when he was little.
Gotta go. Dp is yelling at the Cavs game and I'm trying to relax... time to switch rooms... ughhhh.... When it's not ds being loud, it's dp...
